Please don't let other people push you into a race. This is about your health not how fast you can do it.Pamela E. You didn't gain 30 lbs in 3 months, so don't expect to lose it all in that time. I like to take things in 5 lb, increments and just always remember that no matter how fast or slow the weight does come off, with each lb you lose, you are becoming healthier. It is not a race and if people keep asking you, I would just say "Thanks for asking...yes, I have lost weight" and if people press you for specifics, if you don't want to answer that, you can always say something like, "I've lost a little over such and such lbs". Personally I think it's really rude to ask someone for their specific loss number. I just want to look at them and ask them how much they weigh or how often they have sex. I HIGHLY doubt they'd tell me, so why should I tell THEM how much I lost. Honestly, if I wanted them to know, they already would. it's just a very personal question!Stephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02194299634556467542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24060107.post-72766334191928104472010-09-12T22:56:12.719-04:002010-09-12T22:56:12.719-04:00While 6 wks is the normal for full blown exercise,...While 6 wks is the normal for full blown exercise, none of the Docs put a limit on walking. I literally walked my azz off afterwards. I walked 2-3 times a day. Increasing the length by counting mailboxes in my case. I never regained any of my pre or post op weight once I started eating again & I attribute that to my walking.uhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03352448044334020347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24060107.post-70612135808340425672010-09-12T19:04:00.861-04:002010-09-12T19:04:00.861-04:00I agree on the 6 weeks for exercise.
I know you...I agree on the 6 weeks for exercise.
I know you're awesome doll but your 12/20 goal might be a tad ambitious. This beginning period of bandland is very tricky and our bands are fickle. I had my surgery about 4 1/2 months ago and my fill last week (#5) was the first time I've felt any restriction to speak of. That's not to say I didn't lose weight in between, but I didn't feel much assistance from my band...I pretty much just dieted it off.
Just keep doing what you're doing and the weiht will come off.Cindylewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14540643788281963704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24060107.post-49690023682825624412010-09-12T17:50:54.329-04:002010-09-12T17:50:54.329-04:00Yep, 6 weeks for major exercising for me. It will come right back off though..
